Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Polytechnic, Jagdishpur, Sonepat, Haryana is a centre of excellence where we nurture young talents in different fields of Engineering. Electronics and Communication Engineering Department has major emphasis of imparting technical training to encourage curiosity and innovativeness.

Our aim is to train the students in such a way that they can compete the world of technology successfully. Our faculty members are experts in the areas they teach. The faculty members are not only providing high quality education to the students, but also are immersed in cutting-edge research which covers almost all disciplinary areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering. The students are guided and motivated to practically implement the principles learnt in class rooms through experiments in laboratories which help students gain confidence and become skilled engineering professionals. We also teach our students the need of discipline life in this contemporary world by making them a perfect student in all means.

ECE Department

It gives me immense pleasure to lead the department of CSE.Our College is one of the premier institutions, unique like a prism reflecting the manifold shades of learning and co-curricular activities. Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Polytechnic is striving hard towards the goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standard to achieve academic excellence.

The very motto of our department is to provide quality education. The process of learning is extremely important in life. What you learn, how you learn and where you learn play a crucial role in developing ones intellectual capability, besides career. CSE Department

A warm and affectionate welcome from the Department of Civil Engg at Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Polytechnic, Jagdishpur, Sonepat. Civil Engg. is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads,canals,dams and buildings.

Our department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty and staff members and we are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. We always work with the motto "Noting can be achieved without genuine effort." The core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy technocrat to compete and work at global level. Our department has been conducting seminar / conferences since its begning to keep the faculty and students abreast with the latest developments in the field of technical education.

Civil Department

I feel ecstatic to introduce you to Department of Mechanical Engineering, which is the foundation of Engineers. Department of Mechanical Engineering strives for increasing the knowledge, enhancing the critical thinking, ability to change information into knowledge and power of analyzing the things technically of each and every individual of ever changing society through students.

Our Laboratories have been very well established not only to cover complete syllabus but to motivate students to learn beyond the syllabus which definitely develops complete knowledge of the subject (both the practical and theoretical depth of knowledge) and develop skill sets of students to become promising engineers in future.

Mechanical Department

Bhagwan Mahavir Institute of Polytechnic is a centre of erudition where we nurture young talents in different fields of Engineering. Our major emphasis of imparting technical training to encourage curiosity and innovativeness among our students and lay a foundation from where they can acquire quick learning ability and adaptively with the fast changing needs of the industry. Our campus is an exciting place to study and grow where thinkers become leaders and where there is thirst for knowledge.

Our faculty members are experts in the areas they teach. Not only do they provide a solid grounding in the academic theories and concepts of their specialty, they also provide the students challenges facing their discipline. They provide the students the right balance of theory and practice. We emphasize team work to give opportunity to each student to benefit from the ideas and intelligence of their classmates.

Electrical Department

Electrical Engineering is one of the conventional branches of Engineering like Civil and Mechanical. Whatever may be the nature of any Industry or Works, it is always incomplete without the Electric Power Supply. Electrical Engineering therefore plays an important role.

The programme is well designed to develop the knowledge and skills to connect, operate and perform quality test on various electrical Equipment. It gives knowledge in Planning, Estimation and Installation of Electrical wiring. The Department of Electrical Engineering has a well qualified and experienced staff. It has a number of well equipped laboratories and workshops.

Presently the intake capacity to the programme is 40 in 1st and 60 in 2nd Shift. The course is spread over a span of 3 years, each year comprising of 2 semesters. At the end of each semester, examinations are conducted by the Sate Board of Technical Education, Panchkula.
