ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING

Electronics Engineering is one of the most challenging and vibrant branches of engineering. The sweeping changes in technology keep everyone amazed and even vigilant to update ones knowledge base.

It conducts a 3 year Diploma programme in Electronics Engineering, each year spanning two semesters, with end examinations conducted. The sanctioned intake capacity is 40 students.

Department of Electronics Engineering has spacious, well equipped laboratories. It possesses an excellent, well qualified and experienced staff.

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

One of the reasons why this course is so immensly sucessful is that there is a great emphsis on bread-board implementation in labs in secon year, hence the students acquire greater practical knowledge. You will learn competencies to develop, design, diagnose, test, repair and comission electronic system as required by a range of industries. The labs at MSIT equipped with measuring instruments like CRO, Multi meter etc.

The course has proved to be a respected course in the industry, and it takes the student through a range of subjects, broadly mentioned are: Advanced Engineering, Maths, Network theory, Engineering electomegnatics, Electronic circuits, Control system transmission line and waveguides, Digital communication, Microwave component and circuit, VLSI system design, Fiber optics communication, Satelite communication etc.
